Onomo Hotel Kigali

The ethical management and friendly service stood out . the food service was slow.

Hotel was lovely welcoming and I appreciated the food there, it was delicious. My room was both fantastic and reasonably large with the Window to the back and shower & ablution, for example.

The hotel staff was not very friendly.

The hotel features a modern design with a rooftop bar that offers fine views. The pool area serves as a great relaxation spot after a long day.

Room layout lacks comfort. The Standard Twin Room is small with limited power outlets and no mini-fridge. Cleaning standards are subpar, as they use the same mop across rooms, raising hygiene concerns. Many room sockets don't work properly, and a late checkout fee took me by surprise, especially given the lack of functional amenities in the room.

Location: the hotel was very close to the restuarant as well as the airport. The room we had included TV with satellite channels, a personal safe, tea and coffee making equipment...

it was in the central location across to the hills of kigali. the staff were all wonderfully friendly, which was unquestionably a plus. the room i stayed in was large and well-designed with pool views.

The shower door didn't close, but the room was spacious and comfy.

the wifi was a pain (only worked in the lobby! ). but the rooftop view was incredible, and the infinity pool provided a nice escape after a long day. staff were friendly and eager to help!

A combination of hits and misses

The staff were cute and ensured my comfort, leaving a great impression on my first visit to Rwanda. Food was delicious, and the ambiance cozy.

Customer service was inconsistent, especially during breakfast with slow response and order errors. Wifi was poor.

It was clean, cozy, and offered lovely views. I faced some issues with the inconsistency in breakfast service. Staff responsiveness could be improved, as I had to wait too long for my cheese request, never fulfilled. They charged a hefty fee for early check-in. Not having room service was surprising for a hotel of this caliber. I recommend Onomo for its hospitality and ambiance, just with a few tweaks in service efficiency for a better experience.

The staff's friendliness, particularly Alice's willingness to assist. The breakfast had a decent variety, catering to different tastes, which I appreciated. The hotel's modern design gave a fresh feel to the overall ambiance.

The furniture and decor in my room felt outdated, which didn't match the modern vibe I expected.

The staff were friendly and accommodating. I particularly enjoyed the breakfast with a good variety including freshly made dishes. The location provided fine views over Kigali and a peaceful atmosphere.
